Brie walked into the tent, all legs sheathed in blue jeans, a black turtle neck sweater, and black boots. David had to swallow his pulse. She smiled. "I see you've all met", she said.
David just nodded. Tim grinned. "Yes, we have. Thank you again, Mrs. Draiman for inviting me to speak. This is really an honor."
"I'm glad you're looking forward to it." She looked at David. "Baby, can I talk to you for a moment in private?"
He coughed and nodded. "Yeah, sure, baby." He walked over to her and she led them outside the tent.
--------------
"They want me to WHAT?" he asked.
"I said the same thing, honey", she said.
"Who's asking for this?"
"Everyone. The people. YOUR FANS."
He rubbed a hand over his face. "This is really short notice, you do realize that."
“Yes, love, I do, and I wouldn't have asked if everybody weren't begging."
"One of my impassioned monologues, huh?"
"Yeah, if you want to, you can do it during the concert."
He thought about it. "If I'm moved to do so, I'll do it, but I'm not making any promises."
"I didn't expect you to."

The guys sat in the tent listening to the speakers, wishing that they could be outside that tent with the crowd listening to everyone's speeches. David was just thinking. Suddenly, out of nowhere, David jumped up. "I've got it!"
"You've got what?" John asked.
"You guys know how we've been struggling to find the perfect song to close on?"
"Yeah. Why?" Mike asked.
"Danny, do you remember how 'Walk' goes?"
"Yeah." Dan said.
"Do you know 'Walk', John?"
"By Pantera?" David nodded. "Yeah. It's one of the first songs I learned on bass."
"Good, because that's how I want to end the show."
The guys all nodded. "Sounds good to us, man", Mike said. "Let's make 'em walk."
